Queen Anne 09
An existing c. 1910 Craftsman home on a narrow lot in the Queen Anne
neighborhood of Seattle was expanded and remodeled to nearly double its
living space while retaining the original front facade and main interior
stair. The entire structure was raised two feet on new foundations to establish a day-lit basement, and the building was extended into the
rear yard to make space for a new master bedroom suite, kitchen, and
family and media rooms. New windows contributed to a more open, bright and airy interior, while new finishes and trim matched and maintained the original style.
